That's It!

Has there ever been a period in your life when you lost all faith?  Make perfect footprints; walk straight and true.

That's it -- it's the end of 2011.  I just want to have this entry to make it the 55th posts, i.e. 5 + 5 = 10 = 1.  I want to have a special number.

Gonna have an early sleep tonight .. it's just a new way that I would want to do .. sleep through as time strikes 12 here in Singapore.

Happy New Year to all.

Don't, Don't Leave Me This Way

Do you think it would make a difference if everyone prayed all at once? Let’s try it.

You can’t unburn toast. Think twice before speaking in anger.

In few more days we will walk into the year 2012.  The year 2012 has been been documented into many prophecies and each describe them with mysterious interpretations.  There is a prediction of a deadly 11,500 year cycle when the ice age comes back where super volcanic activities, massive earthquakes, tsunamis and nasty hurricanes are experienced.  Then, it is also said where spiritual awakening and spiritual consciousness are rising at much higher rate.

Guess, the anxiety (and probably, fear) for the year 2012 starts with the wide spread belief with what was written in the Mayan Calender.  The Mayan Calender ends its date on 21 December 2012.  It has become, to many of us, a day of great significance.  Of something to ponder.  Of something to agree to disagree.  Of something to disagree to agree.

And The Grass Grows By Itself

Two newspapers, two horoscopes. Why don’t they ever agree?.

I am thankful to end the year doing what I like best.  I am grateful that the Universe bestow an honor on me to share what I know to others.  I am beaming with joy and with peace to dispose my knowledge.

That I am able to handover acts of spirituality to some people.  To be able to pass on Reiki healing, Reiki attunements and hours on spiritual sharing.  That I make some people to feel peaceful and joyful.  That I can contribute to their vision for a better new year, with a higher level of spiritual consciousness.  One that is greeted with their spiritual awakening and guiding their hunger for change.

For The Joy Of It All

What’s the youngest memory you can recall? Pleasant or sad?

[This is the second part of "A Tribute to Reiki Sanctuary, The Third Year".  You may want to read the Part One [HERE].]

Reiki Sanctuary is my mountain.  Reiki Sanctuary is the cave in the mountain.  Reiki Sanctuary is a lover, a friend, a comforter.  Reiki Sanctuary is wellness of life, my life.  It is my sacred place.  It is a place where my soul comes to live and be protected.  She is a safe haven.

I am very much comfortable just to be here.  I am at peace just to be here.  I am happy to be here.  I am fortunate that my soul finds the sense of life here.

A Journey Of The Heart

Direct knowledge is true wisdom.  Sometimes you gotta make the mistakes to learn the lessons within.  Yes, change really does begin with you. Better get started.

Very often we are troubled with our own emotions.  We have doubts, we get hurt but we are never in despair nor are we destroyed.  There is always two sides of the coin and it depends on how our mind would want to put us in.  Our free will direct us to where we want our conscious actions to be.

Our state of free will and its possible transgression somehow reminds me of the story of Adam and Eve.  When told by God to avoid the forbidden fruit, they chose not to heed but to eat it.  It was such an act that caused harm to them.  It was such blatant ignorance that led them to slip from God's garden.

It's A Long, Long Road

Hire the person, not the job description.  Someone helped you. Go help someone else.

The other day, I receive a call from an old friend.  I have not heard from her for quite some time.  Nor do I get, this year or two, to chat with her much.  Still, there is this amicable connection.  We have both moved on so much to develop our own path, separately.

Those days, we use to chat on the phone for hours and meeting up regularly.  We use to share a lot about our personal things.  We use to talk about our spiritual inspirations. We discuss about our spiritual journeys and share our profound spiritual experiences.   We speak about our dreams, our works and our family.

From A Distance

Watch closely those who always tell you how honest they are.  Watch closely those who always tell you how innocent they are.

Does honesty exist in a vacuum? Are you ethical when you’re all alone?

This morning, after doing my usual morning chores, I felt about a most wonderful experience.  I felt that God had stood next to me.  I felt that God was engaging into conversation.  I felt His loving connection; it was comforting me.  There was no doubt that it was Him.  I heard his words, "Go over the window and see what I have done".

For the early part of the morning, I was a little troubled with my past action.  I felt a little uneasy thinking what I had done.  I felt uncertain about my guidance, the sharing which I vocalized and the strong expression and articulation just to prove a point.  It sounded too harsh.  It sounded un-sympathetic.  It sounded dogmatic as if authoritative and of unproved principles.

Let's Smell The Rose

Do you give enough to charities? Give enough that you miss the money?

In my parting entry for the year 2010, I quoted a friend's message:

"For this 2011, there will be more trains to catch.  And while we are busy trying to catch up with the rest of the world, do not forget to remember the beauty and the joy of the person we have become while we were busy looking into the future and/or running away from the past."

Since you manage to read this far, let's now pause for awhile.  I am about to guide you with a simple exercise, into the power of visualization.  Right now, think 'what you see is what you get'.  Think of January 2011 and slowly let it move on to February, March till now, December.

Take Me Home

Dating is like shopping. It doesn’t mean you’ll buy anything and take it home with you.

Advice is like medicine. It doesn’t work in the bottle. You have to take it.

It has taken me months to finally pen down this entry - Spirituality Vs Religion.

I have always wanted to write it.  I have always wanted to express what I believe is my personal experience with God.  All that is written here is just a personal overview.  Mostly, it comes from my general observation.  It derives from a personal experience and an incident, which may sound bizarre, where I felt that I was stricken by the white light.  Somehow, at the moment, I felt I had "small talks" with God and the conversation changed me.

The article here is not exhaustive nor all inclusive.  As it is, the topic on Religion and Spirituality is very broad.

This topic on Religion and Spirituality is often discussed amongst my friends.  It has always been a conversational topic to remind ourselves of our journey, of the question 'Who Am I?' and how do we want to live.  It has always been a topic to model our thoughts, our actions and our attitudes.  However, I must say that I would rather talk about Spirituality than to delve in Religion.

Just as every child is encouraged to attend school and get an education, having a religion is just as important to shape the child.   Humans need some foundation to lean on, some values to believe in.  But, when the child is told to learn 1 2 3 and it is far more important than to learn A B C is inappropriate.  There is no distinct difference when both are paramount.  Same goes to which academic course is far more superior than another that makes one to become more successful.

Religion goes by the same principle.  All religion is good.  Religion makes humans to be one with God.  We should see God as a common denominator among the religions of the world.  Every religion teaches us to know God.  It teaches that God is with all men, with all life.  When we are able to accept this that we will have something in common and it will help unite our differences and our spirituality.
