The Voices of My Soul

I enjoy writing. It relaxes me.
It makes me to take charge to nurture my mind and spirit.
It is far better than the burden of thinking and talking.
Writing is self discovery. Writing is a way towards my self-conviction:
I Become What I Think About. The Me I See, The Me I Will Be.

My writings are my way to communicate with the Universe.
They are my expressions of my inner voice. They are voices of my soul.
Often, they are about little prayers for my development, growth and well being.
Often, they are meant to shape my spirituality. [>> Click To Read More]

Quality And Quantity

God, Please Give Me The Strength

I have written few articles that touched on my (our) life desires, the Q-thing, on Quality and Quantity.  About how, depending on each individual, such Q-thing makes a difference.  To some, quality is important while too much quantity brings stress.  Yet, to another, the desire and the importance where more the merrier and regardless whether the quality is sub-standard is a way of life.  No which way is right nor wrong here, each has its merits.  Each carries value and morality.  Each of these Qs in itself brings with it an eternity.

My previous articles:
It's A Small Small World
The Twelfth of Never

Today, as I so happen to think much of the phrase "in itself brings with it an eternity", it reminds me of what Paulo Coelho has written in his book 'The Alchemist'.  This book has sold millions and the phrase certainly brings an important value that I often think of.  Where the phrase is in the book, Paulo was talking about a seer casting some twigs.  Here is the excerpt:

The Twelfth of Never

I love the month of December.  Not only of the rainy season and the cold weather that bring about a feeling of ease, there is unspeakable peace about the month.  Perhaps, it is about an end of a year to close yet another chapter of our lives and the beginning to new hopes that will transcend higher reason to live on.  Perhaps, it is about a period to bless and be blessed.  Of letting go and renewing faith with expectation of another fulfillment.  It is the unquestioned surrender to the will for bigger hopefuls.

December is the month that I would start to spring clean.  Of throwing old things that are no longer needed nor provided to serve me further.  I start to look into folder and files and discard old correspondences that only made the arch files thicker.  I would defrag my computer hard disk after deleting and removing many old data that I don't even can remember having them.  Every storage spaces, every cabinets in the house are not spared.  Basically, it is a renewed opportunity to gain access to develop new energies.

The intention is for plain truth.  That, it is about to create abundance.  It has nothing to do with greed but to live a life that is meant to be.  We create sacred space for it to be filled; we give away what we got as not to hoard our mind to free it from burnout.  Clearing spaces - be it physical tangible items or intangible ideas, is about a forced spiritual secret to manifest abundance.  It is a conscious act to remove debt karma.

Don't get me wrong but spring cleaning is about gratitude to things I once owned.  Of how each of these things had given me the vehicle to act and react.  Of how those things were the prosperity, at any given time, in my journey.  Each had served a divine purpose strengthening consciousness and attracting synchronicity to all things good.

The Universe cannot put good into my hand until I let go of what I am holding in it.  The lifespan, between birth and death, for faith to become reality.  Quality is ever more important than quantity.  Only when we learn to treasure, and understand it, that the Universe will amplify the virtue into circumstance.

Faith is heartfelt and it becomes reality only when we focus on the Real.  Keeping unwanted things and forgetting to provide them with love and attention, while they lie hidden from our sight, is as good as nothing.  Cherish is all about affection and tenderness, of holding dear.  But, when our old things are left unattended for long period of time, only to be found while clearing the mess, it is an act of disrespect.

The key of the kingdom to the Law of Vacuum is in keeping an uncluttered and organized environment.  When we start to clear unwanted things, we are in a state of plentiful consciousness.  Abundance is generated when we play along with the fluctuations of life instead of fighting to hold things forever.

December is also a resurrection month.  It is the time of year to review to take in stocks of past actions.  Past thoughts.  Past events.  Of forgiving what had gone wrong and letting go.  Karl Marx wrote "Life is not determined by consciousness but consciousness by life".  The quality of the life we live is about to improve our living conditions.  The emphasis is on the need to perform the right action determined from the God consciousness within, to work done through wisdom.

There is a silent comfort about December.  To me, it is a mutually exclusive month motivated by a visualised target to long and to strive for better things.  It is a one-pointed determination to revitalise the course of a man's life.  It is a period of 31 days to perceive the relationship between oneself and one's environment, only of love and happiness and faith.

It's A Small Small World

Just the other day, as a friend showed me his Facebook - the most used social networking website, an unnerving feeling just swamped me.  The intrigue of an intertwined social cohesion that fascinates me otherwise.  I was made to capture the attention of another consequence.  Of a smaller world.  Of who knows who.  Of an interactive communication, good or bad, amongst circle of friends.

With Facebook, users choose who are their friends based on their interests to connect and interact.  They share information and, willingly, inform their friends of their whereabouts and actions.  While there is always the joy to share ideas, social information and circles of friends - and there is nothing wrong with that, with the chosen few in the loop of their daily happenings,  the acts bring back memories of my past.

Who knows, who cares?  I expect a decree of respect when a Facebook user adds another to serve the same purpose to form a community.  I consider for reasonable quality and condition formed into a state involving mutual dealings amongst them.  That their interests are homogenous and affecting common determinants for social enactment and awareness.

As my friend shared who knows who in his group, I wonder at the level of prevailing superficiality.  And, how shallowness is apparent.  A user whom he had resentment in the past, and whom he has no total trust today, is part of the group.  This user is allowed information sharing and participation.

As if by a great blow, the memory where I chose to 'go up the mountain' puts me back into a past condition.  There is a sudden strong feeling for sincerity.  For embodiment of emotions that is simple.  For a chance at nirvana.

I need friends for many reasons.  For them to comfort me when I am sad and to laugh with when I am glad.  For them to give me advise and whom I can count on.  For them to help me solve my troubles and to share good times so the joy is doubled.

I need friends for a mutual desire for companionship, and perhaps a common bond of some kind.  For a shared sense of caring and concern, a desire to see one another grow and develop and a hope for each other to succeed in all aspects of life.  To share thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement or negative criticism.

I need friends that I can spend time with - time to get to know each other, time to build shared memories, time to invest in each other's growth.

I need friends whom I can share my lives, thoughts, feelings and frustrations.  Friends that I can share my deepest secrets without worrying that those secrets will end up on the internet the next day.

I need friends who encourage one another and forgive one another where there has been an offence.

I need friends who look at the heart, not just the 'packaging'.  Not just for what it can get in return.

I wonder how Facebook can make amends.  Perhaps, it is only the superficial quality that lasts in our lifetime.  That a Man's deeper nature can never be known.  Perhaps, it is a higher ground for us to learn about life.  About how to forgive ourselves.  About how to deal with our emotions.  About how to live in both the positive and the negative.  About how we are gifts to the world around each other.
