On the way for dinner today, a friend and I decided to drop by to a showroom. It is a new development which is only less than 5 minutes away from our current place.
Surprisingly, already 60% of units were sold during the 1st day of launch. Today, there are only about 4 units left.
We were, indeed, surprised. The property market is still doing kinda well. All the smaller units - which is only about 570 sq ft [geez, it is even smaller than HDB 3 rooms flat] were all sold out, at the price of $1,030 psf.
There are now 2 units [out of four] of penthouse, about 2,400 sq ft with private pool, left. Indeed, for a $1,030 psf at district 8 is slightly high but this new development is sitting on a freehold lease and it is only within 5 mins walk to Farrer Park MRT and just edge of City area.
Vogx Development:
Our intention was not to buy. Rather, we went in just to look at the decor. Felt sorry for the sales representative who attended to us after we left the showroom.
While he was explaining to us about the property, we were more interested to ask him about the teak wood flooring, about the ximula modular cabinet, about the induction cooker top and about the blum kitchen cabinet system. We were, basically, soaking at the decor and saving mental images which we will then discuss it with our designers.
Ah, guess this is the way we expand our renovation knowledge. And going to a showroom is far better than browsing the interior magazines. How I wish I had brought my camera!
