We are not sure whether we should accept Chiauw's suggestion to meet this saturday. We understand, through sms, that her brother is still unconscious, though he is making small progress.
Not that we doubt she will not give us her best, but we wonder whether we will stress her more. Yes, there are still many things to discuss and finalize but these things, in our mind, can wait.
A life is more important. Plus, we can only start the renovation in July and to move to the new house early September. Hence, we have about a month plus to sort things out.
But on the other hand, it would be good that we take Chiauw's mind away from her sadness. It is, and can be, very stressful for her just to see the brother in such a condition for the last few weeks. Perhaps, to steer her away a little will do some good.
We will honour her decision. Meanwhile, we decided not to give her stress.
