Welcome To Reiki Sanctuary, The Blog

The Voices of My Soul

I enjoy writing. It relaxes me.
It makes me to take charge to nurture my mind and spirit.
It is far better than the burden of thinking and talking.
Writing is self discovery. Writing is a way towards my self-conviction:
I Become What I Think About. The Me I See, The Me I Will Be.

My writings are my way to communicate with the Universe.
They are my expressions of my inner voice. They are voices of my soul.
Often, they are about little prayers for my development, growth and well being.
Often, they are meant to shape my spirituality. [>> Click To Read More]

The Big Bang

And how time flies.

Today, as we are at the end of the year, 2015 has been a good wonderful year for me.  Hopefully, yours too.

In the month of December, I have been telling my friends to end 2015 with a big bang.  It can be anything but it has to be something.  Something that bring the explosion of joy within.  Something that signify all things good that will continue and follow into the new year.  This 'something', in my humble opinion, is important.  It is important to the vibration of where we are today.  The energetic vibration that will shape 2016.

In my case, I was blessed and I thanked God for providing them.  I wanted to end 2015 with a good relaxing holidays.  Away from Reiki Sanctuary - not literally "away", but I wanted to relax my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual Self.  Where I would wake up in the morning to have a good breakfast in a cozy environment and just soaked the day without any specific itineraries.  Where I could have the time for myself and not worrying about my OCD to clean and tidy the house.  I wanted to enjoy and to be pampered.

The hotel that I used to stay whenever I would be in Bangkok upgraded me to the Grand Suite.  That, was a lovely Big Bang!  It was unexpected especially when the Hotel was running full house in December.  It made me to feel very much "at home" for the intended purpose of how I wanted to end the year.  Everything felt right and everything was right.

The Bathroom (This picture does not give justice to the actual thing)

In the twist of event, the Big Bang continued.  First, I was approached to do a house cleansing and to impart Tibetan Geomancy knowledge to a Thai house owner.  It was not part of my holiday itinerary.  This marked the continuity and the passion of what I had been doing.

Second, a Master friend whom did not know that I was in Bangkok messaged me only to find that I was there.  He was at Singapore Changi Airport going to Bangkok when he messaged.  We met and had a good chat.  It was enriching and I felt that I would only be moving forward in year 2016 in special ways.

To all my readers ..
To all my family members ...
To all my friends ...
To all souls that cross my path ...

Happy New Year to all
May 2016 make us better individuals
May we be blessed, may we loved and may we be embraced with joy and peace always

Little Things To Remind Me

God, Thank You For Providing Me Your Hands To Walk Me Through

There are times that I doubt about my gift.  Sometimes, I feel that I have gone a little insane, a little egoistical.  But, time and time again, there will be little messages (and they mean a great deal to me) that I will receive to remind me that I am still a normal person.  It is, such little message, that makes me to realize how much God loves me.  How much He cares and takes care of my desire to live my life.

I often desire to live a fulfilling peaceful life.  A life that not only can keep me to breathe the air of serenity, the air of tranquility but, above all, I want a peaceful life that is constantly connected with the Universe.  A life that can bridge Heaven and Earth.  A life that connects every being.  A life that is simply understood and it embodies the energy of love.  The energy of everything possible and everything positive.  I want to live a life that makes me to be fully aware and fully conscious with the language of the Universe.

Here Is Where I Grow

God, I Do Love You

Every room and every item in our home has its own energy and vibrations.  Each carries its own informational consciousness.  Each has its own life patterns and manifestations.  Importantly, to create good energy for each room, it is notable that we remember each room has its own soul, almost symmetrical to a human.  It has a sense of being and it works energetically with the dweller.  It has great significance, values and frequencies.

It is, therefore, essential that we respect every room.  We should take the effort that it is well taken care off.  We should synchronize her soul to be a part of us and we have to fine tune the vibrations to work in partnership with us.  All that we need to do is to, constantly, nurture the nature.  Just as much as we want our Being to be respected, to be loved and to live a harmonious and balanced life, so does every room.

The Logic Of The Universe

Talk to strangers. Yield to others.  The more love you give, the more love you receive. Yes, it really is that simple.

For the last two months, I had the opportunity to be invited (in my humble opinion) to create the gateway for good cause on the lives of others.  From something I dearly believed to be workable to be shared across.  Where lives could change for the better and life could never be the same again.   Where an overall well being of souls was improved.

For the last two months, I was happy to bring change to an environment, to the house of some friends.  Where, with their new faith, new dynamic energy transformed itself.  Though these people felt a little trepidation at entering into 'my world' in the beginning, through the geometric science of Tibetan Geomancy, they traversed their faith  that soon filled with beautiful and rewarding results.

My World, it is an environment surrounded with Tibetan Geomancy.  It is a world where I live with.  It is a world of heaven on earth.  It is a world of miraculous creations.  It is a world of transforming Universal wealth, and infinite abundance, right inside the house.  Inside Reiki Sanctuary where I reside, where I love and where I find joy, peace and comfort.

I am very aware of each sacred places, in its geometric forces and influences, that affects the vibrations in certain places in the house.  Tibetan Geomancy is all about that.  How each sacred places has its unique divination.  How the element of energy within a house is directly connected to the element of the Universe.  How the element of the Universe can affect the element of energy within a house.  How the logic deals with the way in which evidence is used and the conditions of evidence are valid.  Within and far beyond, it carries specific meaning and significance.  I documented My World in "The Tenet Of Soul".

I believe it is my faith that I have for Tibetan Geomancy (and hold it very dearly) that makes it to reveal the intended results.  All these years, with evidences and guidelines on the use of evidence with Tibetan Geomancy, I have never doubted its essence and attributes.  It forces and its influences.  Its powers and how they are generated.

I believe that the nine sacred elements within the geometrical chart of Tibetan Geomancy generate magnetic waves, and vibrations, which is influenced by our spiritual, emotional, mental and psychical bodies.  I believe it transcends the logic of the Universe.   As one of my friend makes this remark 'It is something just hard to explain.  It is something whether to believe or not but it is right there transformed.'

In itself, Tibetan Geomancy is very much connected with the concept of I-Ching, the Book of Changes.  It is a system of divination, cosmology and philosophy.  It centered on the idea of synchronicity - the dynamic balance, the evolution of events and acceptance of the inevitability of change.  Carl Jung, who coined on this term, described "it is about acausal connection of two or more psycho-physic phenomena".

I have been doing, and carrying out the works of, Tibetan Geomancy for more than a decade.  Personally, the best way for me to introduce Tibetan Geomancy and its enormous significance is by pointing out that it, and it alone, provides the answers.

These last two months, through the rewarding works of the Universe which I am very grateful, I have a sudden invitation from six individuals sought the wisdom of Tibetan Geomancy.  I believe it has to do with their personal growth; where each one of them is now fully awakened wanting to discern on the Universal abundance.

It is a state of their Ascension (read my blog entry - "The Ascension".)   To them, they have come to a stage in life where they now desire, upon 'waking-up' (read "Have You Woken Up?), accomplishments through the interpretation of geomantic common sense.  It is only right, for all of us, to get more than we have already had.

It is not about greed but appreciation.  It is not about the destination but the journey.  It is not about foolishness but awareness on the vast abundance of the Universe.  It is about rightful ownership and gratitude.

There is no reason why we should not ask for more unless there is the fear that one may overstep with the mark of Life.  It is similar to the way in which doctors examine the human body in particular, from the point of view of what makes it sick and what makes it healthy.  Like the doctors, Tibetan Geomancy looks at all the elements to see how each energy can create and re-create.

The one common thing that we all like, that we are all connected with Tibetan Geomancy is the subtraction of fears.  There is no irrationality.  There is no superstition.  Tibetan Geomancy woks on the positive charges of energy, of thoughts without attracting the elements of superstitions.

With the elimination of such negative forces and influences, Tibetan Geomancy is all about enhancing divination on earth.  It is about raising positive vibes and treating all things being equal, good and those not so good.  It is about empowering our divinity in partnership with the science of the sand.  What is important is our prayers, our intent and our faith.

This writing is about celebrating the lives of these six people who have come to me.  This writing is about celebrating the rewards of their faith.  This writing is about an acknowledgement of partnership.  This writing is about what Tibetan Geomancy has influenced  their lives and the reason for its Just-Is.

Friend (A)

Friend (A) is the most eager of the group.  She wants change, for her and her family.  Somehow, she is now awakened with intuition for something good to happen but just not sure where to begin.

She internalizes Tibetan Geomancy.  She has faith in it.  Immediately after my sharing, she takes charge.  She goes around to clean up clutters in her house religiously.  She becomes conscious of her own thoughts, her life and cause and effect.  She dons her house with meaningful intent.  Basically, she allows her soul to be in partnership with the forces and influences of all the sacred spaces in her house.

Two days later, she receives the rewards (and counting):

01.  Her husband, out of the blue, was given substantial salary increment.  It is not the time of the year for him to be getting it.
02.  Her immediate neighbour of 18 years knocks on her door to give packets of nasi bryani.  It is unusual as the neighbour has never, all throughout the years, showing such kind gesture.
03.  Her relationship with the family has changed.  She feels there is more communication and there is more family bonding.

Friend (B)

Friend (B) is the daughter of Friend (A).  A young mother to an Angelic child, she feels her working life has come to an end.  She quits her previous job as a Nurse.  Today, she feels that she has become redundant and unemployable.

Few days after she takes charge to raise Tibetan Geomancy in her house, she receives calls.  There are job opportunities waiting for her, whenever she is ready.

Friend (C)

To me, Friend (C) has everything.  She holds good job.  She has a big house and a happy family with two young children.  Life is full of contentment.

When I asked her why she was very much interested in Tibetan Geomancy, her reply was 'Why not?  Life evolves and one should continue to find more meaning.'

Today, she is filled with more blessings:

01.  Her relationship with her immediate boss has changed tremendously.  According to her, 'We have now become friends and closer.   Surprisingly, we have started to confide with each other.'
02.  Everyone in her office, including her subordinates, is 'friendly' now.
03.  Her trading commodity is making more profits.
04.  "I feel happier these days.  I feel it."

Friend (D)

Friend (D) is funny.  When she called me to learn (and embrace) Tibetan Geomancy, she has no house yet.  She has just sold her previous flat.  "You must guide me and tell me what this Tibetan Geomancy is."  She believes that she will find a house when she puts her faith in it.

"I know I will just find on the day I start looking."  True enough, the day her house agent brought her to view houses, she found one immediately.  The price and the Cash-Over-Value were much below her initial budget.

Friend (E) and Friend (F)

These two were 'tag-along'.  As they mentioned "Time is not right yet".

Two days ago, I added an element in one area of the house.  At the same time, I bought Money Plant to hang outside Reiki Sanctuary.  I made a prayer and at the same time to prove to my partner that Tibetan Geomancy worked.

Yesterday my partner received a job offer to oversee two months project in Amsterdam.  The pay was good.  Regrettably, my partner turned the offer down.

The Tenet of Soul

Invest in your spiritual growth.  True spirituality is inclusive, embracing others. It is true wealth.

It is said that our body language tells all kinds of stories.  It signals fragments of our moods, our emotions and, in some instances, our silent unspoken thought.  It is a communication without words yet all the body actions, gestures and expressions carry subliminal messages.  It tells a story from our subconscious mind which would normally be associated with particular habits, behaviours and attitude.

This non-verbal communication sends out significant expressions that become the story, our life story.  It is a sensory modality used to modify meaning and convey emotions.  It is a non-verbal frequency code, a para language, producing from the universal language of the mind, consciously or unconsciously.

From the way we sit, the way we stand, the way our body reacts to how and when our hands move - these sequences that combine from the various ways following the pattern of our thoughts and emotions, documents the non-verbal words to become our life story.  Stories are told from body posture, facial expressions to our pitch, volume and intonation of speech.

Amazingly, body language produces waves of colors too.  These colors change depending on the tone and emotion that are emitted with each body actions, gestures and expressions.  Gentle tone and emotion emit subtle earth tone colors of yellow, green, blue, brown, gray and white.  Whereas a strong tone and emotion whirl with fiery colors of red, dark oranges, dark gray and dark brown.

Inasmuch the body language is a subtle and unspoken language of human communication, the state of a house tells another kind of stories.  A story of the soul, a representation of our earthly lives.  Of our mindset on the way we think, the way we perceive things and the values that we live by.  Of how people come together to bring hope, courage, inspiration and love around the community.

Everything around our home environment mirrors our inner self.  It reflects how free spirited, or clouded, the mind and soul are.  It speaks volume about the consciousness of the mind of the dweller.

From how we decorate it and the color of the walls we choose, how we place certain items at certain places to how much we take care of its neatness and cleanliness.  The painting that we choose to hang in certain area in the house, the ornaments that we place on our bedside table and the color we choose for the bedroom, these signify the language of our soul.

"Language of the House Soul"

(The story here, sitting in a Dining Room which is also the Health and Unity Grid [of Tibetan Geomancy] in Reiki Sanctuary, is about enjoying harmony in complexity.  It is about achieving a desire to bond, to communicate, to embrace with gentleness with all the sensitivity of issues of life.  It is about to be able to focus in meaningful issues surround life and to enhance on the healthy state of Being.)

Many messages, many life stories, are told just from the ways the decoration in the house are placed.  A house carries integrity of those who live within it.  It reflects the personality and attitude, basically grouped as our core value.  It is said that you can tell a lot about a person by how he decorates the house.

It creates the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energies that carve out the landscapes of our lives.  It places the soul of soul, the mindset to be filled with motivational life values and the fruition, for love of life, for love of self, for love of others and for love of all the living and non-living things.

I always like to observe the state, the condition and all the surroundings in a house.  How seriously the dweller respects it.  How seriously the dweller treats it.  How the dweller takes pride to call it a home, or it is just a place to sleep.  On the pride of how things are organized.  On the behaviors of the dweller to interact with a particular area.

It is interesting to hear the reasons the dweller cares little to tidy up things.  Or why cleanliness and neatness are important.  The reasons the house can just be left to accumulate clutter.  Or why creating Law of Vacuum is the order of the day.  Why a stained cup can be left laying unwashed and the dirty linens can be everywhere around the house.  Why the beds are not done.  Why the floors are not mopped.  Why a stain can still be a stain few days later.

How do these attitudes become so casual?  How, above and beyond survival utility, we grasp our ability to make things important - the worthy of appreciation, time, energy, effort and sacrifice.

The soul of the house carries within itself specific energy that vibrates with the souls of the inhabitants, the dwellers.  This energy - the Yin Yang, heightens its Universal Power only when both the internal (the home) and external (the building) are in harmony.

While the interior decoration speaks volume about the people living within the house, the structure of the building (or the house) aligns itself with the Universe.  In Tibetan Geomancy, a house consists of nine grids which reveal how each area is connected to specific aspects of Life.  In each grid, there is a specific energy frequency that works in partnership with the Law of Attractions and Vibrations.  Together, the decorations and these grids form the geometry.

I have spent many years to understand the algorithm mechanics of these grids.  At how energies can just spring.  At how harmony can be invited.  How a space can be sacred.  How foundation can be anchored.  How abundance can be Just Is.  How the bad energies are generated.

Started with great scepticism, I have started to see great validation and accomplishments.  To apply the concept of Tibetan Geomancy, think of the house as the Heaven on Earth and the inhabitants as the human cobweb.  Each must work with each other to form partnership to create values.

While we cannot change the structure of Nature - the sun will rise in the East and it sets in the West, the values that we put in inside the house will make the difference.   It is the balance to keep the Yin-Yang in harmony.  It is giving a heightened sense of well being and vitality.  Expansion of core value gives a greater sense of well being, authenticity and connection to the Universe.

The Universe is a portal of great abundance with no boundaries and limitless.  Hence, we need to provide direction for this abundance to enter into the house, into our lives.  We have to create the door-way, we have to create the values.  Values do not exist in nature.  We will never see a signage in the sky (say) a heart's contentment, a successful career, or pile of money.  All of these Universal Abundance is imposed by innate human to create it.

Stories of Some HDB
(The Tibetan Geomancy Interpretations):

3-Room HBD Flat

There is lack in relationship that can cause in difficulty in finding a love mate or problems in existing relationship.  What the dwellers get will not be what they need or want.

3-Room HDB Flat

Abundance, in the form of wealth and prosperity, is in order.  There is always sufficient (more than enough) cash flow.  Abundance does not stagnate and comes with just a little hard work.

4-Room HDB Flat

Often, there is a limit in the ability to learn, make wise decisions and to improve.  There would always be ideas but, somehow, they are just a scattered desire.

4-Room HDB Flat

There is unity and family harmony here.  More than often, the dwellers are health conscious and there is always a meaningful central focus in life.

5-Room HDB Flat

There are blocks to the flow to support life.  Often, the dwellers feel like they are 'living alone'.  It also inhibits plans to travel or move home.

5-Room HDB Flat

There is hardship with prosperity and fortunate blessings.  Cash flow is often clogged to cause overall financial situation to stagnate and make it hard work to create abundance in life.

Executive Apartment HDB Flat

There is excitement with fame and reputation.  There is big supply with enthusiasm, passion and inspiration.

Executive Maisonnette HDB Flat

Often, the dwellers tend to experience blocks in creativity, struggle in bringing projects to fruition and difficulties in relationships with younger people and children or people working for the dwellers

(PS:  Please note that these qualitative analyses, from the different HDB flats, are not supported from the energy point.  It is just a rough guide.)

The Celebration Of Life - Part Five

Living With Tibetan Geomancy

"All my needs are taken care of
as I follow My Higher Path"

Over the last ten years, I have lived my life with Tibetan Geomancy.  Not into a detailed Tibetan astrology per se but with the basic philosphy and a styled spiritual practice of geomancy which supposedly to bring harmony and peace.  Reiki Sanctuary was bought and renovated according to it.  Hertford, our previous sanctuary, was re-aligned subsequently (after I got to know about Tibetan Geomancy) to fit into the nine Tibetan bagua.

No, I am not much a feng shui believer.  I avoid, with respect, Chinese Feng Shui but not Tibetan Geomancy.  It is just me that I want to live a life free from anything superstitious.  To me, and perhaps it is due to my limited knowledge on the subject, Chinese Feng Shui is all about an audit of beliefs as to where and how things should be positioned to create the flow of balance and harmony.

To me, there are just too many certain rules to abide and there are restrictions surround Chinese Feng Shui.  Perhaps, it is my confusion on the directions and representations of the five elements of water, wood, metal, earth and fire.  A wrong placement and combination of any of these five elements, as claimed, result in destructive and deconstructive environment.

However, whether it is Chinese Feng Shui or Tibetan Geomancy, the purpose is about creating an optimal balance to improve our health, wealth, love and good fortune.  It is about tapping into the invisible energies, or Chi, and invigorate them to manifest and radiate and regaining control over our lives.  When we attain the ideal energy, the balance and harmony to our life will unify.

I believe every house is a good house.  It is what we place inside, with love and treated with care, that will change the vibrations.  Every corners of the house possess a force of good energies or an indwelling nature spirit.  From this point of view, these corners carry certain vibrations that make each location a power place.

Tibetan Geomancy, unlike Chinese Feng Shui, is not so much with where and how things are positioned.  It does not ascertain on the specifications of the five elements, though it is interconnected.  In Tibetan Geomancy, it emphasizes on how we show our respect to every corners and how a location is treated.  The Tibetans believe there is some kind of force or energy connected to the way things have come together in any location, of the house, to make it what it is.

This ideology is something that I can closely connect.  There is some subtle, and perhaps indescribable energy, that makes a particular location (or area) "beautiful"; a place where we can just sense of a power or presence.

All things that happen in life can be reduced down to nine categories or life situations.  They are:

01.  Abundance
02.  Reputation
03.  Love
04.  Family
05.  Health
06.  Children
07.  Knowledge
08.  Career
09.  Compassion

All nine categories can be mapped in our home, and are each called a bagua grid.  These grids reveal how the different areas are connected to specific aspects of our life.  Understand each grid brings great revelation.  For the last ten years, I have observed the co-relations of these grids and how it affects the house dwellers.  Our lives and the house we occupy are inseparable.

My faith, and my teaching, with Tibetan Geomancy is plain simple - it is what we keep in each grid that will bring greater ease and harmony to that aspect of our life.  As mentioned earlier, Tibetan Geomancy is about how we show respect to every corners and how a location is treated.  Storing out and out junk in a specific grid can have a more serious effect.  A junk room in the abundance area, for example, can create financial problems in our life.

The Universe has conspired; giving us the good tidings of Tibetan Geomancy can fetch far reaching physical, mental, emotional and spiritual effects in our lives.  It is also a call to discipline ourselves to keep our house clean, neat and tidy away from clutters.  It is about creating that sacred space so that the Law of Vacuum could just fill it in tandem with every aspects of life.

October is a month of celebration - The celebration of our life.

It is a month where we want to give our gratitude to Reiki Sanctuary. Without her, life makes no sense. With her, life is not miserable nor empty. It accomplishes the most basic level for our soul to find peace on earth. It is her existence that we are here to find purpose.

When the Universe created Reiki Sanctuary, it gives our soul the purpose-driven life. It should be a sanctuary to simplify decisions, to increase satisfaction and most importantly, it should be a place for us to prepare for eternity. Here is where we should learn about life lessons. Here is the place that shall provide for purpose, for meaning and for greater significance.

Reiki Sanctuary comes with the love of the Universe to us. We have to acknowledge that. We have to put our hearts to love for her. We have to recognize the purpose, and to live with greater hopes.

Thank You, Reiki Sanctuary.

Partnership With House Plants

A Dedication To All Our House Plants in Reiki Sanctuary

We love having plants in the house.  They are just a simple placement art - a life-affirming nature that frees us to enjoy our surroundings and releases inner peace.

Admittedly, we don't have green thumb.  All throughout, when we were in Hertford, many plants were brought home and withered (Haha, this would be a better word than to say that they all died in our hands).  Still, the love to have them sharing our home constantly keeps us getting new ones every now and then.  Here, in Reiki Sanctuary, we keep that love alive.  We welcome them.  Letting them to purify and bring fresh chi into the environment around us.

Our all-time favourite Iron Plant:

"Safe Keeper"

"Sweet Surrender"

"Love Angel"

We fell in love with this plant when we were scouting for a tall foliage for the balcony.  The formation of the branches is an art and it is, always, so peaceful just looking at the natural beauty.

"Sweet Life"

And our newest 'collection':
We were introduced to this plant by a friend and was told it brings abundance.

"Eternity"

Other plants:

"Foodie Goodie"

"Freshie"

"Perkie"

"Sunshine"
as it brings light and joy in the living room.  Having artificial flowers are far better, and advisable, than to have dried ones in the house:

House plants are, based on geomancy, a simple solution for creating comfort and keeping harmony in the house.  They are great for clearing blocked and stagnant energies.  It is said that caring for house plants does not require a green thumb but love.  Ah!! *Blink, blink* - we have a lot of it! Heng!

In geomancy, the purpose of having house plants is to generate good chi.  Its rationale is, since plants embody the element of wood, thus they contain the life force.  In return, their life force attracts vital energy to energize the room and clear the air, mentally and physically.  In that relaxing sense of space, it rejuvenates our emotions and uplifts our spiritual mind.

Observe how a plant can actually revitalise and provide mental relaxation after a long day.  Or even after arguments or unsettling events.  Their life force simply spreads calmness and peace for the soul.  Plants are also believed to lessen the effects of electromagnetic stress emitted from TVs and other electrical equipment.  They absorb potentially harmful EMF emissions.

However, What we give is what we get.  We would be a fool to expect so much if we are not going to reciprocate.  There is always a limit to everything.  It's a simple nature versus nurture attitude.  When we give love, we get love.  When we nurture love, anything is possible.

House plants need to be cared too.  The more we give, the more we get. It is important to know that house plants can stagnant the energies in the house and produce negative chi if the they are not cared for adequately.

Some guides to care for house plants to achieve optimum feng shui:

01.  Watering Your Plants

Create a water ritual to water them on a regularly basis.  As you water your house plants, visualize the plants as strong and healthy and with every drop of water, they become more vibrant.

02. Name Your House Plants

Name each house plant.  The more you personalize them, you are more likely to give them more tender loving care.

03.  Purpose for Your House Plants

Give a purpose to each house plant.  For example,  make a plant responsible for bringing wealth and abundance into your house.  For many, we have always taken the Money Plant to represent money.  As we water it, visualize each leaf as a thousand dollar bill, or whatever the denomination you desire.  For the wealth to grow, you must care for it and then let it be to grow into a vibrant and healthy plant.

Reiki Sanctuary welcomes "Ah Huat!" at her door step:

You can have different plants for different purposes:

-  Health
-  Career
-  Self Esteem
-  Etc

04.  What You Give Is What You Get

It is important to care for the house plants.  Place them in a container that is visually aesthetic to you, and your family.  Do not place them in an old pot that remind you of a difficult time in your past.  Treat them with respect.  Dress them with love.  Give your faith.

Take care of your plants and they will take care of you!

Dressing Up - Curtain and Feng Shui

And so we decided not to waste time.  By the time we move in, the house should already be a home.  We hope there will be no more drilling, no more hammering, no more painting nor touching up.  It should just be a pleasant stay unpacking small stuffs while enjoying, and relaxing, with the new ambient, new energy and the new soul.

We are basically a curtain person.  We just need to dress up the window, to bring shade into the house.  Chiauw introduced us to Ken, her working partner, who is in charge of interior design.  Ken is the key interior design person in the company and he has been working for few hotels under their projects.

Ken is good at material selection.  After knowing the scheme for Reiki Sanctuary - from the floor tiles to the furniture, to the wardrobe and the walls, Ken was quick to eliminate those that will not work for our interior.  We finally chose 4 materials for the different rooms.

For the living and dining rooms, we will only have the day curtain.  For the master bedroom, there will be a night and day curtain.  For the study and guest room, it will be roman blinds.

The night curtain for MBR:

The Roman Blind for Study and Guest Room:

Geomancy and Curtain:

Geomancy is all about the relationship between nature and us to live in harmony within our environment.  In order for the energy to flow smoothly around the house, curtains [and also windows] are prominent features of the home.  Fabrics, colour, material and window arrangements can affect the house energy.

Some simple ways to improve geomancy with curtain treatments:

*  Pull the curtains back during daytime to allow sunlight to lighten the house and give the area a positive energy.
*  Keep curtains closed at nights.
*  Curtains should be large enough to cover the window and long enough to reach the floor.
*  Curtains should have 'weight' and 'curves' to them.  When drawn together, there should be enough fabric hanging to form pleats and folds.
*  Make sure curtains can open and close easily.
*  Keep curtains and windows clean to let energy come inside fresh and clean.

Whether we believe in geomancy or otherwise, the best way to decorate the house and choosing the fabrics and colours is of personal taste and instinct.  Importantly, it is good to add positive thought and you will have a perfect home.

Tibetan Geomancy

Whenever I am invited to a house, it is always easy to sum up the vibrational energy within the household.  The basic layout of a house can reveal a specific aspect of the owner and the family.  The placement of objects, the play with colours, the clustered areas - these are elements that will shape and influence within the sacred place , the soul of the house and, ultimately, to our personality, attitudes, characters, behaviour.

What is there in the house - the life that we give to each scared place, is the total sum to our psychological appearance.

Our lives and the place we occupy [be it a room, an office building, a home] are inseparable.  Therefore, it is wise that we should be more selective about what we keep, or place, in that area in order to bring greater ease and harmony to that aspect of our life.  Storing out-and-out junk in the prosperity area, for example, can create financial problems.

Tibetan Geomancy is about dividing the area into nine sacred squares.  Each square resonates with specific sacred element and energy.  In Tibetan Geomancy, the sacred elements are:

01.  Prosperity/Wealth/Abundace
02.  Elders/Family/Community
03.  Knowledge/Wisdom/Self-Improvement
04.  Fame/Reputation/Illumination
05.  Health/Unity
06.  Career/Life Path/The Journey
07.  Relationship/Love/Marriage
08.  Creativity/Offspring/Projects
09.  Helpful friends/Compassion/Travel

I was a sceptic when I first started with Tibetan Geomancy.  However, after months of observation and self validation, and removing or cluttering a scared square, the results can be very alarming.

At the end of the day, I believe that every house, every room, every building - anywhere we occupy, there's a soul to it.

What we need to do is to de-cluster and amplified with an object to resonate with the soul in each sacred squares.

.. to the Drawing Board 3

There are still so many details that need to be addressed.  I realise that designing a home is tedious - there are so many areas to look into.  With Chiauw and the two of us ever so fussy to achieve high modern interior look, yet it has to be simple and cleanlined, we often go very lengthy just to discuss one small area. It can take hours just to talk about an area.

As Chiauw puts it, at the end of the day, this house must be functional, practical and there are no corners not taken care off.  What I like is her constant focus that this house must also be an old-age friendly.  That sounds realistic as both of us are not far from that group and that we will be staying in this house for a long time.

Chiauw is not pushy.  She usually presents her ideas - which we clearly lack, and will go through the pros and cons.  She listens to us and accepts our ideas and, often, will enhance them to blend and integrate with the architectural macro and micro details where possible.
>br /> We have been given a list of tasks which will be discussed next week:

01.  What we want each bedroom wardrobe compartment to be used for.  At the same time, to visualise its interior layout.

02.  How I want the wire trap layout for all the wires for my computer to run.

03.  The 'wood' layout proposal - vertical/diagonal for each room.

04.  All the 'used less frequent' household items.

05.  Switches for the whole house.

The common things that we have achieved so far:

01.  Square grid of the house in line with Tibetan Geomancy.

02.  No wasted corners.  As such, the doors for MBR and Guest Room will face the Dining area - therefore, the old layout with the walkway/corrider will go.

03.  Remove the wall from Main door to Kitchen.  To lay wood flooring.  To slide-n-hide with sliding glass door.

04.  Wood for MBR, Study and Guest rooms.

05.  Black MBR toilet with white and silver accessories.

06.  Black Kitchen floor.

The Search

After much thoughts, and lotsa discussions, we decided that our new house should fall within these few criterias:

01.  Budget

We set the price to be less than S$350K, maximum including of COV.  This will give us less financial burden for our future.  It will limit our search, but at least, we will have a clearer picture as to which part of Singapore we shall be concentrating.

02.  Flat Size/Lease

To be realistic with our set budget - and not move away from our goal, we can only look for an old HDB blocks.  Newer blocks will not be cheap.  We want, rather it is me who want it, a 4 rooms or 5 rooms flat.  The unit has to be door to door and not along any corridor.

I guess after staying in Hertford for so long, it will not be easy for us to stay in a unit along a corridor with many immediate neighbours next to us.  There is nothing wrong with neighbours.  However, we are used to a quiet environment.

At the same time, I prefer to have bigger space.

A 3 rooms' flat suits our needs actually.  But I want to think ahead and to live to honour the abundance in our moment now.  It can be an alternative route for our future ahead too.

We like the newer HDB designs with tall glass windows almost all throughout the house.  There is also the extra service yard where your washing machine can be away from the kitchen area.  Plus, there is the airconditioning compressor area.  Well, as much as they are nice, it is way beyond our budget.

03.  Flat Layout

As I conduct simple Tibetan Geomancy, the layout of the flat must be, preferably, square or rectangle and every bagua is within the house.  This will be a challenge to hunt for the ideal one.

04.  Location

The choice for location becomes clearer with such a budget.

We can choose Sengkang or Punggol and enjoy the new flats but it is, definitely, not convenient when it comes to work proximity.  Prices in other estates, along NEL, are also not cheap based on the size flat that we are looking for.

Estates east of Singapore, like Tampines and Bedok, are out of the question.  The next possibility is looking west - this is also nearer to work but without the MRT.

Ideally, we prefer to be in central area - afterall, we are used to it for the last 20 years.

05.  The Hunt

We decide to start with Jurong East and Bukit Batok.
